Kawneer Company, Inc., an Alcoa business, is the leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum products and systems for commercial construction. Kawneer and Traco windows, and Reynobond®/Reynolux® architectural panels offer a dynamic range of innovative products from Alcoa Architectural Products, the leading manufacturer of exterior and interior cladding and corporate identity solutions for commercial construction.
SITUATION
With the offerings of three different companies on the table, showcasing the portfolio of combined products was central to this campaign. Because of the collaboration of Kawneer, Traco, and Reynobond® products, it was vital to showcase the variety of innovative products to architects.
RESULTS
Function: opted for a visual appeal that beautifully demonstrated the innovative and ranging product portfolio. It was brought to life with the central focus of a light bulb, illuminating the variety for the reader – a literal “light bulb moment.” The light bulb also sparked inspiration when it was shown in a video at the AIA conference and incorporated into iBook kiosks. For the campaign content, Function: chose the overarching message of Together We Build Infinite Possibilities, designed to place emphasis on how all these products can provide solutions for the entire building process and invoke a new way of thinking. Visuals and content came together to fuel inspiration and excite innovation, encouraging architects to view all three brands as a valuable resource in the complete building process.
